Here I am showing how clever I am at sitting up on my own. I was doing it pretty regularly about 2 weeks ago for about 20 seconds at a time and then a couple of days later I just decided I could do it for much longer and here I am. It is better seeing the world from this position although Mum keeps laughing at me because my head sometimes wobbles a bit when I am trying to keep balance - very mean of her!!

Last week we went to Newcastle to visit our cousins. Here's Lucy having yet another birthday cake with Eoin and Amoya (thanks Therese)

And eating her first lollipop with Eoin.

She thought I was sitting in a potty and wanted to have a go too

Lucy's never ending birthday

Hi there....Tommy here...... Just wanting to have a bit of a whinge. On the 25th June my sister turned 2 and its been all about her for far too long now. I have put in a few photos of me just to show you that I'm cute too (although this one above is less than flattering with my eyes closed - thanks Mum!!!)
But look at how cute I am here with my friend Aiden. He may have a bit more hair but he is a little older so I've got time.......




And here I am with my cousin Quinn. Yeah.....he has a bit more hair too (and he is 5 months younger). I really don't know whats going on up top. I hear hair is over-rated anyway!!!!

I am still taller though!!! Do you see that Uncle Matty????

So now the never-ending 2 year celebrations begin. Here is the first birthday cake - at playgroup.

And then we went to the park on her actual birthday with all the other babies in the family and of course Pappa and had a bit of cake.

Is it a bird...is it a plane. Probably one of each!!

I got some action on the swing and had some fun despite no one sharing any cake with me.

Then she had some friends over for more cake a couple of days later. Here are some of them playing together.

Then she got all these presents - very spoilt

And showed them off in front of me and everyone else

Then a few days after that we had a "small" extended family party and Grandma made a fancy clock cake

She was pretty good at blowing out the candles by now!!!

And I just got to look on while all this happened around me.

Oh well....She had a nice time and she is one of my favourite people. And she got all these cool toys that now I am sitting up on my own I can play with too. Not all bad. I will put in a pic of me being a clever boy sitting up next time. That's all for now.
