Lucy's NZ adventure

Hello - Lucy here to tell you about my brief but wonderful trip to New Zealand with Daddy in March. I am a seasoned traveller - this being my 4th trek across the Tasman, but it is still soooo exciting getting on an aeroplane.

This was my first trip to the South Island and I met Nanna (Daddy's Nanna).

And Poppa

And stayed with Auntie Penny (Grandma's sister) and saw Grandma again as she was staying as well. I had a fanstastic time playing with them and being the centre of attention

We celebrated Nanna and Poppa's 65th wedding anniversary with lots of Daddy's family

I had a lovely time with them

And then we got on another plane and flew to Auckland where we stayed with Auntie Lele.
I had my nails painted for the first time ever.

And played with my cousins

Wow - still talking about the fun time I had and am ready for my next NZ adventure. 7 weeks later I have only just recently stopped asking if we are going again tomorrow!!!
See you soon though. Apparently in November we will be coming again and all 6 of us this time!!!
Watch out Auckland!!!

Visitors and activities over the past 7 months !!!!

Hi again. Tommy here - finally my turn to put up some photos. Yes, we know it has been a long time since we updated our photos but Mum and Dad tell me life has been a bit busy recently. Something about 4 children under 4 bla bla bla (I don't know what they are talking about.) They also had a problem with me getting up around 4:30am regularly over Summer. I had no problem especially as I would just have a little catnap at various times during the morning to catch up!!! Here I am caught out in my little catnaps. They thought that waking up early made me tired and whingy. I ask you - do I look tired and whingy in ANY of these photos???

Anyway......on to the business of our visitors. Over the past few months we have had lots of lovely visitors come and stay and meet our boys and play with us. It has been great. Sorry if we don't have a photo of you here. We love all our visitors.
Here's Great Grandma with James and Aaron. They are her second set of twin great grandsons!!! Getting boring for her really!!! She looks pleased anyway.

And Auntie Lele came to meet them in November

In December Auntie Eli and Uncle Tien (Mum's cousins) came to stay with Claire and Patrick. We had a great time with them and even went to the zoo. Here are Claire, Lucy and Jasmin riding an elephant.

And trying to get a group photo.

Playing happily together. We got on really well and had lots of fun.

It hasn't all been business. Here's me having fun with James

And the boys learning to sit up together.

Celebrating their first Christmas

Seeing Great Nanna and Pappy over Christmas just before Pappy's 90th birthday!!!

Nanna and Aaron sharing a joke

Celebrating my 2nd birthday with a lovely guitar cake (thanks Grandma)

Lucy having a laugh with Aaron

My favourite pastime - singing and playing my guitar. Yes - I play upside down - obvious I have a natural gift!!! You may laugh now but when I am famous.........

More fun together

I started swimming lessons once I turned 2. It was so much fun after going and watching Lucy and not being allowed to go in myself.

In February, Uncle Shane and Auntie Delwyn visited with Sienna and Jesse. We had a fantastic time with them. Here we are waiting for a train. Looking at/going on/talking about trains is another favourite pastime of mine. (It drives Mum a bit mad sometimes!!)

The 6 cousins together

This one's for Grandma Cameron. Who is the tallest??

Auntie Delwyn and Sienna with the boys

We all get along pretty well. Most of the time. Life is getting harder now that James and Aaron are on the move and my toys are fair game though. Still there's time for a smile together.

The boys love their bath

And recently we had Auntie Therese and Eoin, Amoya and Orlagh stay. We had a great time playing together.

Amoya and Lucy bossed each other around. (Yay - a short break for me)

I thought Eoin was fantastic and followed him around like a puppy. Being 5 and 1/2 must be great!!!

That's all for now. Will put some more photos on soon of Lucy's trip to NZ

Monday, October 5, 2009

Hi there. James and Aaron here to fill you in on our recent activities. As you can see we are very happy babies. Life is a joke.

Daddy is a bit of a joke too.... Well at least his jokes are hilariously funny

Here's where we sleep at night. Thanks Grandma for our cosy sleeping bags. They have been great on the not so warm nights.

Our big brother Tommy trying out the playgym.

And keeping a close eye on us

Feeding time.....Yay!!

Grandma (Power) and 7 of her grandchildren. Emily and Aaron were asleep.

Lucy showing us how to play. She looks big now but wait until we catch up - won't be long........

Tommy concerned with our crying. He loves giving us cuddles and kisses.

Emily spent the day and wanted to feed James with her baby's bottle.

Our big brother again. He had just given one of us a kiss but Mum wasn't quick enough to catch it. (We think she's getting slow in her old age!!!)

Daddy and Tommy in the garden. Aren't you proud Grandma???

Easy to tell us apart with these handy bibs. Just gotta get the right one on the right baby.(Thanks Auntie Nola)

James showing that he is the big brother and laughing about it!!! (He didn't connect - It just looks like it)

Lucy making Aaron smile

Two little bears - aren't we cute. We love these little jackets from Lachlan and Noah especially in this changeable weather. (Thanks Auntie Maree)

Triple tummy time.

Two little monkeys

Lucy on her dress up day at preschool.

Two little bobbing heads - aren't we clever??

Bye for now. See you soon.
